Dicta-Notes for Windows
Record any meeting with one click — no screen-share pickers, no setup. The desktop app captures the meeting audio and your own voice together, then delivers an AI transcript with speaker labels.
Free download · Windows 10/11 · Open in the Store app
One-click recording
Click record and you're capturing — Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, or the desktop apps. No choosing screens, no "share audio" checkboxes to forget.
Both sides of the conversation
Browser recording captures either the meeting or your microphone. The desktop app records both together, mixed into one clean track — so your own words are never missing from the transcript.
Works with headphones and hearing aids
Audio is captured at the system level, before it reaches your ears — Bluetooth earbuds, headsets, and hearing aids don't affect the recording.
Always up to date
Installed from the Microsoft Store, so updates arrive automatically. New transcription features appear the moment we ship them — nothing to reinstall.
Good to know
Before your first recording
- Sign in with your email and password (Google sign-in is coming to the desktop app soon).
- The recording indicator lives in your system tray, and the app warns you before closing mid-recording.
- System-level capture records all sounds while recording — silence notifications for best results.
- Always obtain consent from meeting participants before recording, as required by the laws of your jurisdiction.
